Job Overview
The
Leasing Agent
is responsible for leasing residential and/or commercial properties, managing tenant inquiries, and ensuring a smooth leasing process from initial inquiry to contract execution. The role focuses on achieving leasing targets, maintaining strong landlord and tenant relationships, and ensuring full compliance with Abu Dhabi real estate regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing & Client Management
Handle tenant inquiries and qualify prospective tenants based on their requirements and budget.
Conduct property viewings and present properties in a professional manner.
Negotiate lease terms between landlords and tenants to secure favorable outcomes.
Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and corporate clients.
Property Listings & Marketing
Source and manage leasing listings in the Abu Dhabi market.
Ensure property listings are accurate, updated, and properly marketed across approved portals and channels.
Coordinate with marketing and listing teams to maximize property exposure.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and process tenancy contracts, renewals, and related leasing documentation.
Ensure all leasing transactions comply with Abu Dhabi property laws, including
Tawtheeq
and
ADREC regulations
.
Coordinate handovers, move-ins, and lease commencements.
Market Knowledge & Reporting
Stay updated on leasing market trends, rental pricing, and demand within Abu Dhabi.
Maintain accurate records of clients, viewings, and transactions in CRM systems.
Provide regular leasing activity and performance reports to the
Leasing Manager / Sales Manager
.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
1 to 2 years of experience
in residential or commercial leasing in the UAE.
Valid UAE driving license.
Strong knowledge of the Abu Dhabi leasing market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Client-focused, results-driven, and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Proficiency in CRM systems and property portals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of leases closed per month.
Conversion rate from inquiries to signed tenancy contracts.
Average time to lease vacant properties.
