Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our property management team. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with leasing inquiries, touring rental properties, processing applications, and ensuring high occupancy rates. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist prospective tenants in person, over the phone, and via email. Conduct property tours and highlight features and amenities. Respond promptly to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospects. Explain leasing terms, policies, and rental rates to applicants. Process rental applications and screen tenants according to company policies. Prepare and execute lease agreements and related documents. Maintain accurate records of property availability and application status. Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and walkthroughs. Ensure properties are clean and ready for showings. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address issues and ensure units are ready for occupancy. Meet or exceed leasing goals and occupancy targets. Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred). Prior experience in leasing, real estate, or customer service is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and local rental regulations is a plus. Professional appearance and demeanor.
