The Leasing Agent will be responsible for leasing apartments/units, maintaining positive relationships with current and prospective tenants, and supporting overall property operations. Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage with prospective tenants, conduct property tours, and highlight features/benefits of available units.
Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins in a timely and professional manner.
Process rental applications, conduct background and credit checks, and ensure compliance with leasing policies.
Prepare and execute lease agreements, renewals, and move-in documentation.
Maintain knowledge of local rental market, competitor properties, and current trends.
Update property listings on websites and social media platforms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents to promote retention and satisfaction.
Address and resolve tenant concerns or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in coordinating resident move-ins and move-outs.
Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and tenant communications in property management software.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
Previous experience in leasing, real estate, sales, or customer service is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is a plus.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
