The Learning and Development Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs that align with the organization\'s strategic objectives, with a focus on the growth and empowerment of our national workforce
Collaborate with department heads to identify learning needs and design training programs than enhance the skills and capabilities of national employees.
Implement initiatives that support the career growth and progression of national talents, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars to deliver impactful learning experiences, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Work closely with HR to establish and implement performance evaluation processes, providing insights for individual and organizational development.
Develop and oversee mentorship and coaching programs to connect national talents with experienced professionals, fostering knowledge transfer and professional growth.
Stay abreast of learning technologies and integrate innovative tools to enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of digital learning initiatives.
Collect and analyze data on learning and development metrics, preparing regular reports to assess the impact of programs and identify areas for improvement.
Willing and able to travel across the country as needed for training sessions and other learning initiatives.
As part of their responsibilities, they will be expected to perform administrative tasks in order to ensure that learning programs run smoothly. (Excel, PowerPoint, Powerpoint)
Ensure that accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and evaluations are maintained.
Tracking and updating new joiners and leavers of UAE nationals will be a part of the job description.
A close working relationship will be necessary between the employee and HR representatives in order to track UAE nationals.
Establish partnerships with external agencies, ministries and organization to identify and access development opportunities for UAE nationals.
Working closely and following up with government entities for training and attendance will be required.
In addition, it will be necessary to follow up on the attendance and training of line managers and UAE nationals.
Education and Certification
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in human resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of cultural nuances and considerations in workforce development.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
Proficiency in learning management systems and other e-learning technologies.
Experience
2 to 3 years of Proven experience in designing, implementing and administering, learning and development programs.
