Learning & Development Manager

This role plays a vital part in developing the skills, knowledge, and attitudes of our colleagues, enabling them to deliver truly memorable experiences to our guests.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you'll mostly be:
Learning & Development
Managing the day-to-day activities of the Learning & Development function, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with all mandatory trainings and assessments
Developing onboarding and training resources, including creating visual and informative learning aids
Conducting Training Needs Analysis across the hotel by establishing core competencies for key positions and identifying or developing training programs to meet development needs
Designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs to support operational excellence and career development
Establishing and driving leadership capability through targeted training, workshops, and development resources
Building and managing a departmental trainer platform to ensure effective delivery of training programs and continuous improvement
Creating and maintaining a talent pool of high-potential colleagues through Annual Performance Appraisals
Supporting and embedding a strong learning culture throughout the hotel
Colleague Engagement & HR Support
Playing a key role in planning, delivering, and evaluating colleague engagement activities and initiatives
Partnering with HR and department leaders to enhance colleague engagement, wellbeing, and retention
Supporting onboarding, orientation, performance management, and internal communication initiatives
Developing a strong network with other Learning & Development professionals to share best practices and innovative approaches
What we need from you:
High school diploma, secondary education or equivalent
2 years' related experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Some college courses or qualifications in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education, or a related field preferred
Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and engagement skills
Ability to influence, collaborate, and work effectively across multiple departments
Must speak fluent English
Other languages may be preferred
