About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced

Lead Utilities Engineer

to oversee the design and coordination of major infrastructure and utilities projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and extensive hands-on experience delivering complex utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the design of utilities and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and engineering standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions. Review engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction documents. Provide expert technical guidance throughout project planning, design, and implementation phases. Ensure all utilities designs comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Support project management activities including scheduling, risk assessment, and reporting.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 15 years of experience

in the design of infrastructure and utilities projects.

At least 3 completed projects

in the last

5 years

involving similar infrastructure and utilities assets.

Engineering degree

from a recognized university. Must be a

Chartered Engineer

or

Registered Professional Engineer

.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of utilities networks, including water, sewerage, stormwater, power, telecom, and related systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and government authorities. Proficiency with design and engineering software related to utilities infrastructure.
