Position Overview
The Lead Technical Architect - Hospitality Projects at Azizi Developments will be responsible for overseeing the technical delivery of landmark hotel projects across Dubai, including high-end developments on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai South, and Al Furjan. Based in the Design 360 Studio, this role translates design intent into practical technical solutions, ensuring compliance with authority requirements, international standards, and project specifications while mentoring design teams and safeguarding quality through all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of hospitality projects across all design stages, with a focus on authority submissions and compliance
• Review and approve detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and alignment with design intent
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design and construction challenges effectively
• Ensure technical documentation complies with Dubai Municipality regulations and international codes (IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, LEED)
• Manage and mentor technical design teams, fostering professional development and design excellence
• Conduct regular design reviews to verify technical accuracy, quality, and compliance with project objectives
• Collaborate with the Director of Hospitality and other stakeholders to align technical output with business goals
• Ensure the seamless transition of concept design into executable construction documents using BIM360 workflows

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, with proven technical expertise in hospitality projects
• Hands-on experience delivering at least five city hotel projects from concept through execution
• Strong understanding of UAE authority submission requirements and international codes (IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, LEED)
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Adobe Suite, and advanced BIM360 workflows
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary design teams
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and stakeholder communication abilities
