Lead & Sr. Procurement Engineer (ADNOC Approved)
Job Summary:
The Lead/Senior Procurement Engineer is responsible for executing the procurement strategy for major equipment and material packages. They manage the sourcing, bidding, evaluation, and award processes, ensuring technical and commercial compliance while mitigating risks. This role requires a high level of technical and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:

• Package Management: Handle the end-to-end procurement process for critical and high-value packages (e.g., Pressure Vessels, Pumps, Compressors, E&I packages).
• Bid Process Management: Prepare inquiry documents, manage the bidder's list (ensuring ADNOC-approved vendors are utilized), coordinate bid clarifications, and lead technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Negotiation: Conduct commercial and technical negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best value for the project.
• PO & Contract Management: Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and subcontracts. Administer contracts, including management of variations, claims, and performance.
• Vendor Document Review: Coordinate with engineering teams to review and approve vendor data drawings and documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordination: Work closely with the Expediting, Inspection, and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Reporting: Report on procurement status, issues, and risks to the Procurement Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electrical is typical).
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in procurement engineering within the oil and gas industry, preferably with an EPC contractor.
• Must be ADNOC Approved as a Procurement Engineer.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and standards for oil and gas equipment.
• Proven experience in managing complex procurement packages and negotiating major contracts.
