About the Position
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Consulting team is a team of technology and business process experts who assist direct sales to prospects, customers, and partners by creating, packaging, and demonstrating innovative solutions for a client\xe2\x80\x99s needs.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a market leader in digital marketing (email, sms, social and web), and a Pre Sales Engineer\xe2\x80\x99s role is to weave together, in one solution, all components critical to a successful outbound marketing campaign \xe2\x80\x93 CRM, web analytics, data warehouses, offer management. Presenting to Director and C-Level executives in both Marketing and IT, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Consultant must be energized and capable of delivering a powerful presentation and discussion of technology at all different levels of detail.

Requirements

• A consistent track record of success in a similar role
• Excellent presentation skills, comfortable presenting to a crowd of a thousand, a CMO, or two developers
• Thrive on change, ambiguity and autonomy
• Able to switch quickly between different modes of thinking and tasks
• A self-starter, highly creative in assembling different tools, able to manage and prioritise effectively
• Innovative \xe2\x80\x93 able to innovate effective toolsets for the team and customers
• Able to work with sales teams to understand and present a business case to clients \xe2\x80\x93 articulating a technical solution, highlighting the business benefits to the customer in a language they understand
• Have deep technical expertise in any of the following industries (digital marketing, enterprise data systems and analytics, business intelligence, web analytics, CRM, enterprise search and content management systems)
• A working knowledge of proper web design \xe2\x80\x93 HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and Ajax \xe2\x80\x93 or willing and able to learn quickly
• Know SQL and RDBMS design well enough to instill confidence in the most demanding of DBAs
• Knowledgeable on the latest trends in web technologies and online marketing

Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
Fluency in English (fluency in another European language or Arabic is desirable)
