A \xe2\x80\x98TalPod\xe2\x80\x99 is a full-time junior developer being supervised and mentored by you, giving our clients the combined output of a Senior Engineer (se2/se3). Your ability to manage 5+ pods will allow you to earn up to 2x your current income. Why this is a unique opportunity for you:

- The position is full-time and remote giving you flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.
- Oversee and mentor your juniors to deliver for our clients, but also participate in key development functions where needed.
- Participate in talent training and screening for those who qualify for the pods.
- Providing your clients with technical expertise and solutions.
- Overall 8+ years in Software engineering
- 5+ years of Scala programming experience,
- 2+ years people management / Team Leadership
- Strong skills in data engineering
- You\xe2\x80\x99ll need solid knowledge of Scala.
- Deep understanding of micro services and hands-on experience implementing them at scale
- Experience building high capacity, high traffic, high availability applications
- Building application architectures including push notifications.
- Proficiency with writing automated tests and TDD
- Experience with profiling and debugging applications
- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns\xe2\x80\x94including Clean Code
- Expertise in multiple secondary tech stacks
- Working experience in Agile XP environment with pair/Mob programming is a plus
