A Snapshot of your day:

As a Lead Regional Product Engineer you will be coordinating a small team of engineers in the Modernizations and Upgrades group for centrifugal compressors in the Middle East. You start each day by reviewing the pipeline of projects with the team and making sure these are distributed according to priority; and afterwards you move onto the development of your own assigned projects, designing turbo-compressor solutions that will impact positively the customer operations, while protecting and modernizing our fleet. You have a collaborative spirit, are open minded, and consistently look for new and efficient ways to develop solutions that are competitive technically and commercially in the market.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

• Central contact person for centrifugal compressor engineering topics in the region.
• Team lead for other product engineers within the team. Provide guidance and develop capabilities within the team.
• Develop technical solutions for complex centrifugal compressor projects (revamps, footprints, DGS upgrades, etc.) together with external clients in the Middle East, based on their requirements and operational/commercial limitations.
• Perform a liaison function between internal and external clients and TCP Product Competence Centers globally to ensure we put forward the best solutions available in our portfolio, and suggest new ones if required.
• Mine centrifugal compressor fleet for proactive generation of leads and opportunities, developing solutions and presenting to customers for evaluation (includes f2f meetings with external clients on regular basis).
• Work closely with Product Development Managers and Client Managers in developing and prioritizing opportunities in accordance to the business pipeline.
• Support Product Development Managers, Client Managers and Regional Project Managers with Engineered Solution Inquiry-Feasibility/First Pass Performance and Analysis.
• Support the Proposal Team as a technical interface, ensuring proposals are accurate and include valuable technological improvements.
• Lead and prepare feasibility and engineering studies as needed.
• Support the transactional/standard business as needed.

What You Bring

• Proactive and willing to take on new responsibilities, with a high level of ownership culture.
• Excellent customer communication skills - must be able to guide clients to the best solution for all parties.
• Experienced and skilled at quickly deciphering, and writing, quality and complex technical proposals.
• Must be experienced with turbo-compressor technology/design and Energy and Oil&Gas industry. Strong familiarization with Siemens Energy TCP portfolio is preferred.
• Good understanding of commercial topics associated to the modernization and upgrades business (pricing, costs, business case preparation, etc)
• Able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Years experience

8 years. * Education - Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Master\'s degree considered valuable.

• Travel (both local and international) - 35%
