Responsibilities
The main purpose of the Project QAQC Lead job is to ensure compliance with set quality policies and procedures
Manages QA activities on site, reports functionally to Quality Director, directly to Project QA/QC Manager, and administratively to the Project Director
Responsible for the maintenance and effectiveness of the Project Quality System, and supports the Quality and Project teams in selecting, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities and initiating continuous improvement
Audits, maintains, and improves ESEC's Quality Management System on project sites
Responsible for the implementation, planning and facilitation of QA activities at the site
Ensures that Quality requirements, agreed specifications, standards and processes are complied with
Ensures that Quality Management Plan, ITP, check lists, Project Procedures as required by the client's QMS and procedures
Supports the initiation and execution of "Lessons Learned" through assessments
Conducts audits, reviews result to ensure compliance with the ESEC QMS, clients' requirements and Contract
Supervises the assigned site QA team, and ensures that they are aware of the standards and procedures
Intervenes and escalates matter if guidelines, quality-relevant procedures or targets are not complied with
Reports on the quality status based on determined KPI's as per the defined frequency
Conduct assessments, reviews, and status meetings. Analyses results, and ensures effective improvement measures
Monitors and inspects all activities related to project quality, including by third parties
Conduct seminars & in-house quality awareness training
Ensures proper document control, records retention, and archives
Provides support for the professional development (including training) of direct reports
Has an independent reporting link to the Project Director and Corporate QA Director
Pay close attention to the supply chain.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or any relevant field, Masters preferred
Qualified ISO 9001 Lead Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor for 45001 and 14001 are advantages.
Experienced in the ISO compliance and certification process
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communications, presentation, and organization / project management skills, and a proven ability to motivate and manage teams
Minimum 12 years' experience in QAQC in a comparable sized operation to ESEC
Experience in the Middle East is a strong plus
Fluent in English and preferably Arabic language
