We are now looking for

Lead QA/QC Engineer

with strong Mechanical Engineering background to Lead and manage all QA/QC activities in alignment with ISO 9001 Quality Management requirements for Oil & Gas construction projects.

Job Overview




This position is assigned to projects, taking the role of

Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer

. The primary purpose of the role is to act as a focal point for all quality-related issues in Oil & Gas projects--ensuring that project quality goals and objectives are achieved. The role requires establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and subcontractors, while ensuring strict adherence to internationally recognized quality standards, including

ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems), and ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems).

Responsibilities and Duties




The main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead and manage all QA/QC activities in alignment with ISO 9001 Quality Management requirements for Oil & Gas construction projects. Develop, implement, and continually improve project-specific quality plans, programs, and SOPs, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and client requirements. Lead internal and external quality audits and oversee corrective and preventive actions. Prepare and implement project-specific quality documentation including Quality Plans, ITPs, and associated records. Ensure construction activities comply with applicable codes, regulations, and ISO 9001/14001/45001 requirements. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Review and approve QA/QC documents such as WPS, NDT Procedures, Coating/Painting procedures, and Method Statements. Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to meet site quality requirements. Provide technical QA/QC support to project teams and liaise with clients as required. Conduct internal audits, raise NCRs/CARs, and follow up until closure. Ensure subcontractor and vendor QA/QC programs align with project requirements. Conduct quality audits on subcontractors and vendors to verify implementation of QA/QC procedures. Prepare weekly and monthly project QA/QC reports, statistics, and presentations. Champion safety initiatives aligned with ISO 45001 and support QHSE training and inductions. Track quality metrics and establish effective coordination between project teams and the company's QHSE Department.

QHSE Obligations



Understand and adhere to the company's

Integrated Management System (IMS)

for Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, and Energy. Perform all activities in compliance with IMS policies and procedures.

Preferred Skills and Requirements



Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related discipline). Certified

Lead Auditor

in ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, and/or 50001). Minimum

15 years' experience

in Oil & Gas projects. Prior

ADNOC project audit experience

preferred. Strong background in

Welding, NDT, Coating, and Painting

. Excellent supervisory, coordination, and reporting skills. Strong understanding of project management across all phases. Proven ability to present QA/QC information effectively to management, clients, and subcontractors. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Fluent in English (verbal and written). Shares company values of
