Key points -
Provides support to the Project Quality Manager in delivering the project quality management system.
Reports to the Project Quality Manager and has a reporting line to the Quality Assurance Discipline Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assists with the Implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and contract requirements.
With direction, supports with the implement the project quality requirements in accordance with the PQP and contract
Supports with implement the audit program to monitor adherence and identify improvement to the PQMS, to include supplier and subcontractor audits as required.
Monitor and report to the Project Quality Manager on the effectiveness of the PQMS.
Under direction uses knowledge and skills in identify deviations from project requirements, and ensure that systems and procedures are established to avoid recurrence
Supports in the monitoring of the application and effectiveness of the PQMS
With support, assist supplier and subcontractor quality plans and programs for any purchase orders / contracts placed, as applicable.
Support with project quality inductions.
Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Depending on scope:
Preparation of QA/QC inputs to the RFQs and POs
Managing the Quality input to pre-PO award bid review and clarification activities.
Managing the Quality input to Supplier documentation review activities.
Facilitate the completion of criticality ratings
Liaison with systems and fabrication quality manager and subcontractors quality
Review supplier and subcontractor quality plans and ITPs (as required)
Skills and experience:
Minimum 10 years Quality Management experience within the oil and gas industry
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Must be proactive and possess good inter personnel skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficient in English and Arabic language
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelors in related field.
Professional Accreditation preferred
* Successful completion of ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor training or transition course, preferred
