Provide strategic leadership for project controls across FEED and Detail Engineering projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust project controls processes and systems to ensure accurate planning, scheduling, cost control, and earned value management.
Interface with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to establish baselines, monitor performance, and drive on-time, on-budget project delivery.
Mentor project control professionals, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Lead the development of project schedules (critical path method, resource-loaded schedules) and cost forecasts; manage baseline establishment and change control.
Implement and maintain cost accounting, budgeting, earned value management (EVM), trend analysis, and risk registers.
Monitor and report on scope, schedule, cost, and risk performance; provide actionable insights to project leadership.
Establish and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) and work breakdown structures (WBS); coordinate with all EPC disciplines.
Manage change control processes (ECP/MOC), interfaces, and documentation control for project controls deliverables.
Prepare and review dashboards, progress reports, cost reports, and forecast-at-completion (FAC) analyses for stakeholders and clients.
Conduct risk analyses (quantitative and qualitative), perform contingency planning, and escalate critical issues.
Ensure compliance with company standards, codes, and safety requirements; support internal and external audits.
Lead the development of procedures for cost estimation, procurement planning, and schedule risk analysis.
Mentor and develop junior project controls engineers; support staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities with timely data and analyses.
Stay current with advances in project controls tools and methodologies; recommend value-added solutions.
