Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Lead Process Engineer role for our Engineering to be based in Oman.

Please note that the position is subject to project award.

Job Purpose Lead a team(s) of senior process engineers and process engineers to carry out the Process Engineering FEED activities (Define stage) for a Mega Project and / or several Medium Projects in order to generate the relevant Process Engineering FEED deliverables on time according to DCAF requirements Ensure design integrity and deliverables quality for all areas within a Mega project with special emphasis on interfaces and continuous improvements Below are some key responsibilities and duties: Manage team work assignments, work load, work forecasting for assigned projects Ensure team members accountabilities in the assigned project are clear and the team works well together Ensure team members in the assigned project learn from each other and from external sources Participate in/facilitate Design Reviews, HAZOP's, IPF Classifications, 3D Model review, Plot plan, etc. Implement/practice/monitor Quality Management System in assigned projects in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements Collaborate, build relationships, and manage interfaces with other FEED Office disciplines, assets project teams, etc. in the assigned project Ensure seamless handover of Process FEED Deliverables to asset project and operations teams Ensure all team members in the assigned project time write Ensure team CTR's and/or work commitments in the assigned project are well defined and delivered on time and within FEED contract value Team documents its work well and meets its document control deadlines in the assigned project Skills / Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering Minimum 6 years in FEED / ENGINEERING and Minimum 15 years in oil and gas Experience Work in a matrix organization and handle multiple reporting relationships and project responsibilities Working effectively with diverse, multi-cultural teams, peers, and stakeholders Fluent in English both written and spoken Company Overview
