Industry: Oil & Gas (Upstream/Midstream likely, given Habshan's location)
Project Type: EPC (Major Capital Project)
Location: Habshan, UAE (A remote industrial site in the Abu Dhabi desert. Accommodation is typically provided in a nearby camp or in cities like Ruwais.)
Salary: AED 16,000 per month + FAT
FAT stands for Free Accommodation and Transportation. This is a crucial benefit for remote site positions. It means the company provides housing (usually in a shared or single camp room) and transport to/from the site or nearby cities.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements * Software Expertise: "Good knowledge of Primavera" - Specifically Oracle Primavera P6 is the industry standard. You must be an advanced user.
Industry Experience: Direct hands-on experience on EPC projects in the Oil & Gas Industry. Experience in the Middle East, especially with ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) group companies, is a significant advantage.
Technical Planning Skills:
Resource Loading: Assigning labor, equipment, and materials to schedule activities for cost and productivity analysis.
S-Curve Development: Creating and analyzing graphical representations of cumulative progress (budget, man-hours, etc.) over time.
Level 4 Scheduling: Developing and managing the detailed execution schedule (Level 4) that is derived from the higher-level project schedules. This is the "working" level for engineers and construction supervisors.
Typical & Responsibilities As a Lead Planning Engineer, you would typically be responsible for:
Schedule Development: Develop, maintain, and baseline the project's integrated Level 3 and Level 4 schedules in Primavera P6, incorporating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Progress Measurement & Reporting: Track physical progress, update schedules, identify deviations, and prepare weekly/monthly reports for project management and the client. This includes creating S-curves, histograms, and progress dashboards.
Critical Path Analysis: Monitor the critical path and near-critical paths. Identify potential delays and propose mitigation plans.
Resource Management: Perform resource loading and leveling to ensure optimal use of manpower and equipment.
Interface Coordination: Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams to ensure schedule integration and accuracy.
Risk Analysis: Participate in schedule risk analysis workshops.
Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior planning engineers/schedulers.
Who Should Apply?
