Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Rotating Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical leadership, coordination, expertise for all rotating equipment engineering activities within oil and gas projects.
The role involves overseeing design, specification, selection, and integration of rotating machinery, ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage rotating equipment engineering activities for offshore and onshore oil & gas projects.
Review and approve engineering deliverables such as data sheets, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
Provide technical input during FEED, detailed design, procurement, and construction phases.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of rotating equipment systems.
Conduct vendor technical evaluations and review vendor documents for compliance with project requirements.
Ensure adherence to industry standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.) and client specifications.
Support troubleshooting and failure analysis of rotating equipment when required.
Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical queries.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum 18 years of experience in mechanical/rotating equipment engineering in the oil and gas industry.
Strong offshore project experience is essential.
In-depth knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, and auxiliary systems.
Familiarity with international design codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, NACE, etc.).
Proven ability to lead multi-discipline engineering teams and interface with stakeholders.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
