About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Lead ICA Engineer

to manage the design and implementation of complex instrumentation, control, automation, and communication systems for major sewerage and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in developing and integrating large-scale ICA systems under challenging project constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and integration of ICA systems for sewerage networks, pumping stations, and treatment infrastructure. Oversee the preparation and review of ICA design documentation, including control philosophies, I/O lists, SCADA architecture, and communication networks. Ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, cybersecurity requirements, and authority regulations. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to ensure seamless system integration. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for all ICA-related deliverables. Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning, and troubleshooting. Prepare technical reports, design justifications, and presentations for project stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of experience

in instrumentation, communications, and control systems, including the design of similar projects within the

last 5 years

Degree in Control Engineering

or related discipline and

professional qualification

(IET / IEEE or equivalent) are required. Detailed knowledge of ICA design for sewerage systems. Proven experience working on

large-scale control system projects

(e.g., SCADA, PLC, RTU, telemetry, automation systems). Strong analytical, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities across multidisciplinary teams
