Key Responsibilities

Lead

Fire and Life Safety (FLS)

design efforts for

mid- to large-scale multidisciplinary projects

, ensuring compliance, quality, and innovation throughout all project phases. Deliver

technical expertise

in fire protection engineering, passive and active fire systems, and overall life safety strategy. Interpret and apply relevant regional and international codes and standards, including: UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice

NFPA 1, NFPA 101, NFPA 5000

Saudi Building Code - General (SBC 201) Saudi Building Code for Fire Protection (SBC 801) Lead and conduct

FLS design reviews

of architectural and engineering drawings to ensure proper integration of fire protection measures. Develop, review, and approve

Fire Strategy Reports

, technical mark-ups, and all FLS-related design deliverables. Provide

technical mentorship and guidance

to junior engineers and design technicians on code compliance, best practices, and documentation standards. Approve and sign off on FLS engineering submissions, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory requirements. Develop and promote

performance-based fire engineering solutions

, incorporating innovative approaches tailored to project-specific challenges. Serve as a key liaison with

clients, internal teams, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)

to ensure effective coordination and timely resolution of fire code issues.
