Mission

Lead and manage ICT & SAS design, coordination, and delivery across large-scale aviation projects, integrating AI-driven engineering, UAE 2025 regulations, and smart airport digital systems.



Ensure all ICT, SAS, and critical airport systems comply with:




UAE Federal & Emirate-level regulations (SIRA, TRA TDRA, Dubai Code, ADM Standards, Civil Defense) International aviation standards (ICAO, IATA ADRM, NFPA, ISO/IEC, IEEE) Cybersecurity & digital asset governance standards (NIA UAE, NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001:2022) Smart infrastructure, digital twin, sustainability & carbon-reduction requirements




Drive innovation in AI-embedded design, digital workflows (BIM 4D/5D, CDE, GIS) and smart airport technology ecosystems.

Line and Staff Relations

Reports to Director -- Production & Operations Functional reporting to Resident Engineer during delivery phase Leads multidisciplinary ICT-SAS design & site teams Interfaces with: Client & authorities (Emirates, EK Eng, Dubai South, GCAA, SIRA, TDRA, DCD, RTA) 3rd-party reviewers & specialist vendors BIM / Digital Engineering Office

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Leadership

Lead ICT/SAS concept, preliminary, detailed design & IFC packages Establish digital design workflows using AI-assisted modelling and QA/QC Define technical specs for: CCTV, ACS, IDS, PAS, BMS/BAS, A-VDGS, A-SMGCS, SCADA, WDN, LAN/WAN, VoIP, IoT, DAS, Wi-Fi6/6E, Data Centres, Edge Compute, Cybersecurity Platforms, Smart Building Systems: Ensure compliance with SIRA, TDRA, UAE Civil Defense, GCAA, RTA, ADM and ICAO/IATA requirements Lead cybersecurity compliance for ICT architecture Produce technical documentation: BoQs, specs, design reports, BIM data, digital twin parameters

AI & Digital Engineering

Integrate AI-assisted design, predictive analysis & automation tools Lead BIM LOD 300-500, CDE, and Digital Twin configuration Implement AI-driven value engineering, risk detection & design validation

Commercial & Tendering

Lead technical evaluation for ICT/SAS packages Support tender documentation, RFPs, BoQs, and cost estimates Review contractor proposals & variation requests

Construction & Commissioning

Review & approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and method statements Lead testing & commissioning strategy with structured FAT/SAT plans Validate cyber-security & network resiliency testing Approve as-built drawings & asset digital handover (COBie / digital twin format)

Quality, Risk, HSE & Governance

Enforce processes aligned to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 19650, ISO 27001 Implement change control, stakeholder approvals, and design governance Maintain lessons learned & contribute to innovation roadmap

Profile Specifications - Minimum Requirements

Experience:

15+ years airport ICT/SAS

, incl.

ME/UAE 5+ yrs

Education: BSc Electrical / Electronics / IT Engineering (Master's preferred) Technical Expertise: AI-enabled design, ICT networks, Data Centers, SAS systems, Cybersecurity, Smart Airport tech UAE Codes:

SIRA Manual, TDRA Regulations, UAE Civil Defense, Dubai & Abu Dhabi Technical Standards

Aviation Standards: ICAO Annex 14, IATA ADRM, NFPA, TIA/EIA, ITIL, COBIT, NIST Digital Tools: BIM/ISO 19650, CDE (Autodesk/Bentley), Digital Twin platforms, Network modelling AI & Automation: Experience using

AI engineering tools for design, QC, scheduling, risk & documentation

Soft Skills: Leadership, stakeholder management, reporting, team mentoring
