We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated

Head of Electrical Engineering

to lead our electrical department within a top-tier consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will have over 17-20 years of proven experience in designing, managing, and delivering high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical systems for large-scale projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, infrastructure, and industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering Department, overseeing project execution, team performance, and client satisfaction. Provide technical leadership in the design and review of high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems. Ensure all designs meet international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, DEWA, ADDC, etc.) and local authority requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions. Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project stages. Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure timely delivery of projects. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 17-20 years of relevant experience in consultancy or design-focused roles. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems (HV/MV/LV) design and standards. Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination skills. Proven experience working on large-scale projects in the MENA region. Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills. Professional engineering license or certification is a plus (e.g., PMP, PE, or equivalent).

Preferred:

Experience working with government and utility authorities in the UAE/GCC. Strong client-facing and business development capabilities.
