Job PurposeRole is required to support the transformation programme which aims at modernizing the data platforms estate for the bank. Traditional on-premises data warehouse and data lake should be transformed to meet the scalability, agility and modern capabilities needs as the bank embarks on the journey to implement the industry best analytics and AI services, while ensuring the stability, resilience and data security remains intact.Key Accountabilities

• Analyze the current platform estate which is hosted on-prem and is required to be migrated to Cloud AND come up with a detailed plan of embedding CI/CD in the Cloud engineering work covering platform and applications.
• Design and develop automation processes for deploying large-scale, enterprise scale applications.
• Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools
• Help code and scale infrastructure and support a multi-cloud environment integrated with on-premise
• Introduce containerization clusters at application level
• Ensure the Cloud infrastructure rollout and its integration with other platforms is in line with the Information Security guidelines being followed in the bank
• Identifies risks & issues and take ownership to deliver appropriate resolutions.
• Provide deep analysis and action plans for systems availability concerns

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields
• 7+ years of overall experience with at least 4 years of leading the DevOps practice for Cloud environment.
• DevOps skills:
• Experience with automated CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Deployment) tools and processes such as TeamCity, Gitlab, Jenkins or others with Docker
• Experience defining and managing infrastructure with code Ansible, Terraform, or similar in addition to excellent shell scripting skills such as Python
• Experience in managing the storage access on Cloud at enterprise scale via reasonable automation
• Experience in microservices architecture
• Experience in implementing the platform and application monitoring using Cloud native tools
• Experience in implement application self-healing solutions through proactive and reactive automated measures
