Synopsis

Develops technical solutions, provide structural substantiations, produces Engineering Data and issue controlled-Engineering Documents to support aircraft in Major cabin modification \xe2\x80\x9cEASA STCs\xe2\x80\x9d. LDE will ensure that the data he produces comply with the company\'s Design Organisation Handbook (DOH) and the procedures defined in the company\'s Design Organisation Procedures (DOP).

Accountabilities

• Produce Quality Design Data to deliver complete and correct Engineering and Certification Documents on time and in line with the Project Work Scope.
• Capable to simulate and analyze cabin structures integrity under varying load conditions.
• Produce the required Structural Substantiation Data Package/ stress reports and Means of Compliance for the Certification Program to fulfill the Design Approval process with the Airworthiness Authorities.
• Designing and certifying cabin modifications using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), MSC NASTRAN hand calculation.
• Management of the certification process for STC/major modification i.a.w the Design Organization Handbook and Procedures.
• Ensure timely release of Engineering documents, stress reports, Drawings, Manual Supplements, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness for preparations of aircraft return to service after modification. Resolve any Design Engineering issues arising before or during the implementation.
• Support the review the working instructions and certification document(s) developed by the other Engineers within the scope of DOA Part 21J.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree or higher in the field of Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering and +7 years\' experience in Structural Substantiation.
• Experience in design/development engineering in an EASA/GCAA Part 21J organization (equivalent FAA experience is acceptable) or TC holder or at a DOA/POA with similar scope to EYEng. Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer.
• Can use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and MSC NASTRAN to produce stress reports.
• Formal training in Part 21J applicable courses is preferred.
