Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced
Lead Construction Engineer
to oversee and manage site construction activities during the EPC phase of a major oil and gas development. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and coordination skills to ensure safe, timely, and quality execution of multidisciplinary construction works.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise site construction activities across various disciplines. Ensure work is carried out in compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors for seamless site execution. Resolve site-level technical and construction issues effectively and promptly. Monitor daily progress and provide accurate reports to project management. Ensure strict adherence to HSE regulations and company quality standards. Support mechanical completion and handover processes, including pre-commissioning readiness.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field. Minimum 18 years of construction experience in the oil and gas industry. Proven track record in site-based roles during EPC phases. Strong understanding of international construction standards, codes, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors in a fast-paced site environment.
