Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, managing, and recording technical aspects of the project. Managing the architectural team on the conceptual designs, presentations, and design development, to complete the project requirements. Support the internal team and do the necessary coordination to meet the project deadline.

Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):

Manage and monitor the design process from data collection through concept, schematic design, detail design, tender documents and tender evaluation to ensure quality and client satisfaction. Assign the tasks to the team members and manage the workloads. Follow up with the architectural department team for project deliverables, meeting overall project design schedules. Review and follow up on the project documents' quality and follow the building codes, standards and the authority's regulations. Aware of the latest building codes, standards and the authority's regulations. Liaise with clients, take down briefs and assist with concept designs and design development. Monitor the department workload and manage resources. Work closely with the QS team to monitor the project cost estimates Prepare and present reports, proposals, applications and contracts Review the material submittals and follow the company's Quality requirements. Ensure projects are completed with high levels of technical competency, understanding of the construction documentation. Review architectural or engineering plans and all required documents. Follow up with the sub-consultants' review / approved the necessary drawings / reports to obtain the client approval at all stage. Provide technical expertise in development or review of policies and procedures in relation to architectural, structures and systems and construction / safety code. Make sure all applicable building codes and ADA code compliance regulations. Approve the drawings and plans made by the team validating approval for further process. Check and fix any issues that might occur on the design. Preparing the scope of work, specifications and drawings for tender documents. Act as intermediary between Client & the team. Follow up for building permits and obtain Municipal approval. Adapt plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction. Ensure that the documents meet the municipal, company and client standards/ protocols Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality department requirements and Audits. Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Business development & tenders management activities. To ensure, Implement, Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental department requirements and Audits. To Report and record the QHSE dept. non-conformities and in coordination with QHSE dept for closure. Identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards and risks in the workplace, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and promoting a culture of quality, health, safety & environmental within the organization. Understanding, support and follow the waste management system Coordinate and contact the organization ERT team during in emergency case Record, report the incidents and near misses to the management and QHSE dept.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's in Architecture Min. 15 years experience as an Architectural engineer Must possess UPDA Grade-A & QCD Certified GSAS PMP qualification. Proficient in the use of applicable design software such as AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Sketch Up, Photoshop Revit etc. Knowledge of Building codes & standards
