Job Overview:



Pinoy Tourism is seeking a qualified and experienced

In-House Lawyer

to manage all legal affairs of the company, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations related to tourism, employment, contracts, and business operations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal advice, mitigate risk, and protect the company's interests in all commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities:



Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including vendor agreements, service-level agreements, lease contracts, employment contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs. Ensure compliance with UAE laws and the Department of Economy & Tourism (DET) regulations applicable to the tourism and travel industry. Provide legal advice to management and business units on various matters such as corporate governance, employment law, data protection, consumer rights, and licensing. Support HR in handling employee disputes, disciplinary actions, and contract terminations in accordance with UAE Labour Law. Manage any legal claims, disputes, or litigation, including liaising with external law firms when required. Conduct legal research, monitor regulatory changes, and update company policies accordingly. Represent the company in legal proceedings or external negotiations when necessary. Assist in risk management by identifying potential legal issues and recommending preventive measures. Maintain a proper archive of legal documents, contracts, and case files for internal use and audits.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or higher from an accredited institution. Must be licensed to practice law in the UAE or have strong experience in UAE legal frameworks. 5+ years of legal experience, preferably with at least 2 years in-house in the UAE, ideally in the travel, tourism, or service sectors. Strong understanding of UAE Civil and Commercial Law, Labour Law, and DET regulations. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Proficiency in Arabic and English
