Key Responsibilities
Sort and prepare laundry items (clothing, uniforms, linens, etc.) according to fabric type, color, and washing requirements.
Operate and monitor washing machines, dryers, steamers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
Use appropriate detergents and cleaning agents to protect fabrics and remove stains effectively.
Inspect laundry items before and after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
Fold, package, and prepare items for delivery or storage in a neat and professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area at all times.
Report any equipment malfunctions or damaged items to supervisors promptly.
Adhere to company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Requirements
Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is an advantage but not mandatory.
Ability to work 10-hour shifts and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, standing for long periods).
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Basic understanding of laundry operations, fabric care, and equipment handling.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to follow instructions.
