Laundry Washer Man

Job Description
A Laundry washermen washes, dries, linens, uniforms, and customer garments, operating commercial machinery, removing stains, and maintaining equipment and cleanliness, while also managing supplies, tracking orders, and providing basic customer service.
Key duties include sorting by color/fabric, operating washers/dryers, folding/hanging clean items, ensuring high hygiene standards, restocking supplies (detergent, softener), and potentially performing minor sewing or repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Processing Laundry:
Sorting items by color, fabric, and size; loading, operating, and unloading washers and dryers; applying stain treatments; and folding or hanging clean laundry.Equipment & Area Maintenance:
Cleaning and maintaining laundry machines, emptying lint traps, ensuring the laundry facility is clean, and performing basic troubleshooting.Inventory & Supplies:
Monitoring and restocking detergents, softeners, laundry bags, and other cleaning supplies.Customer Service:
Assisting guests/customers with inquiries, handling laundry orders, tagging items.Record Keeping:
Tracking laundry items, creating invoices, and logging equipment issues.Essential Skills & Qualifications
Attention to Detail:
Crucial for sorting, stain removal, and quality checks.Organizational Skills:
To manage tasks, inventory, and item tracking efficiently.Customer Service:
Ability to interact with guests and resolve concerns.Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, lift, and move laundry.Knowledge of Fabrics & Chemicals:
Understanding proper washing techniques for different materials and chemicals.Job Type: Full-time
