Role Summary
The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing housekeeping laundry administration, monitoring linen flow, coordinating staff duties, maintaining records, and supporting training and compliance to ensure smooth, timely, and professional laundry operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Review logbooks daily and follow up on pending actions
  • Conduct periodic checks of linen charts and pantries to ensure housework tasks are completed within the same day
  • Ensure all linen and rewash items are returned promptly
  • Check and report preventive maintenance requirements related to laundry operations
  • Maintain daily housekeeping and production records accurately
  • Rotate employees across tasks when operationally required
  • Ensure sufficient stock levels of chemicals and required laundry supplies
  • Maintain attendance records for laundry staff and support preparation of duty rosters
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts and stock verification
Training and Human Resources Responsibilities
  • Maximize team potential through structured training programs based on departmental needs
  • Provide on-the-job training and close supervision to ensure consistent performance
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
  • Take proactive action to address operational issues and unhealthy practices
