Position Overview
Accor is hiring a Laundry Supervisor in Dubai to oversee daily laundry operations, ensuring quality control, proper handling of textiles, and adherence to hotel standards. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage staff, equipment, and outsourced services while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Core Duties

• Supervise daily laundry operations, ensuring all linen, uniforms, and guest laundry meet quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of daily production, staff attendance, and chemical stock levels
• Oversee outsourced laundry services and ensure adherence to quality and environmental standards
• Conduct inspections for cleanliness, defects, and recommend linen or uniform replacement when needed
• Train staff on proper textile care, equipment handling, and safe working procedures
• Schedule preventive maintenance for laundry equipment and report malfunctions to engineering
• Rotate employees across different duties to optimize productivity and skills development
• Maintain workplace safety, enforce health and fire safety policies, and report potential hazards
• Support monthly inventory activities and ensure cost control measures are followed
• Create a positive work culture, address staff concerns, and resolve cross-cultural issues effectively
• Deliver guest-focused service by ensuring laundry quality and timely delivery

Candidate Profile

• Previous supervisory experience in hotel laundry operations preferred
• Strong knowledge of textiles, laundry equipment, and quality control standards
• Ability to train, supervise, and motivate a diverse team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities
• Familiarity with safety regulations, chemical handling, and preventive maintenance procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills with a guest and staff-focused approach
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
