Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Launderer to join our laundry team. The Launderer will be responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing laundry items while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort laundry items by color, fabric, and cleaning requirements. Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment. Add detergents, bleaches, and fabric softeners as needed. Inspect items for stains or damage before and after cleaning. Pre-treat stains using appropriate cleaning solutions. Fold, hang, or iron cleaned laundry as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area. Ensure machines are functioning properly and report malfunctions. Follow safety procedures and hygiene standards at all times. Label, package, or deliver laundered items according to instructions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an advantage. Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and move laundry items throughout the shift. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good time management and organizational skills.

Work Environment:

Standing and moving for extended periods. Exposure to heat, humidity, cleaning chemicals, and laundry noise. Lifting loads of up to 25-30 pounds regularly.
