Lathe Operator
Job Description
Weltech Vision Trading Co. WLL is seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Operator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate conventional and/or CNC lathe machines.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
Set up tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor machining processes.
Perform quality checks on finished parts using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep of machines.
Follow company safety standards and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a lathe operator (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and measurements.
Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CNC lathes will be an advantage.
Technical diploma or relevant certification in machining/mechanical trade.
