Lathe Machine Operator
Job Description
Set up and operate manual lathes
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Select appropriate tools, materials, and speeds for machining
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
Document production data and maintain records
Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
Proven experience as a lathe operator or machinist
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Familiarity with precision measuring tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Basic math and computer skills
Knowledge of machining principles and materials
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
