The Laser Therapist will be responsible for providing laser treatments for various medical conditions such as nerve disorders, skin and hair removal, and scar treatments. They will also be tasked with operating equipment to ensure patients receive the best care.
Responsibilities
- Administering laser therapy treatments to patients for medical purposes.
- Operating and controlling laser equipment to treat various medical conditions.
- Analyzing patients\' skin tissue to identify treatments needed, especially for scar treatment.
- Monitoring treatment progress and advising the medical team accordingly.
- Collaborating with dermatologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to analyze and diagnose patients\' conditions.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
- Ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and effectively.
- A degree in medicine, clinical sciences, or related field.
- Experience with laser therapy or related fields is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and dermatology.
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze patient data.
- Ability to operate and maintain laser equipment.
- Dedication to quality patient care.
