The Laser Therapist will be responsible for collecting patient information and for providing quality care to clients that visit Skin Laundry. The role will be flexible to support the Front of House team with administrative functions as required based on the needs of the Business. The main role is to coordinate the day-to-day activities involving client care, in an efficient and professional manner. 1. Duties and Responsibilities Warmly greeting clients, walking them into the treatment room, and ensuring high-level care is provided throughout the appointment. Collects information on patient status from a variety of sources using assessment skills including observation, communication, and physical assessment. Evaluating and treating clients within established treatment protocols. Providing a friendly and comfortable environment for clients to be treated in Update and maintain client records on the system with their treatment details. Is adept and knowledgeable with the use of specific equipment. Is trained to efficiently operate the machines used for all skin laundry treatments. Provide clients with pre-and post-treatment care. Explain all treatment procedures to clients. Perform skin analysis and evaluation to determine an appropriate treatment plan. Perform the required treatment in a time-efficient manner while maintaining a pleasant attitude. Advise and coordinate with clients on all aspects of the treatment and answering any questions or concerns they may have in a professional and friendly manner. Speak with clients about additional services and recommendations. Answer clients\xe2\x80\x99 questions or concerns about treatments and/or products. Manage clients with grace, even during peak demand. Inform clients about new treatments and discounts. Upsell treatments and products when appropriate. Proactively identify and resolve client issues using Skin Laundry\xe2\x80\x99s protocol system. Provide timely and comprehensive oral updates throughout the shift. Ensuring that the treatment rooms are clean and organized. Be responsible for all aspects of health and safety and compliance. Maintains the strictest confidentiality and performs all duties in a professional manner. Assists in the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for all operational areas of the clinic. Enforcing all health and safety regulations and protocols. Work collaboratively with different team members of Skin Laundry. Flexible work schedule: some evenings and weekends will be required. Support Client Coordinators and the reception team with administrative responsibilities as required by the Business. Any other duties and responsibilities that the Regional Clinic Manager may assign. 1.2 Customer Service Adheres to the Skin Laundry\xe2\x80\x99s vision and brand values. Has knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent client service including client needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Ensures correct information is available for cashier to charge. 1.3 Personal responsibilities Apply oneself to the job, continually upgrade oneself, and embrace Skin Laundry\xe2\x80\x99s core values. Maintains own staff development folder to record educational activities and professional growth related to evidenced based practice and critical incidents. Job Requirements 2.1 Skills and Knowledge Should have strong communication skills (both written & verbal). Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Should be presentable, have good manners and must always be well spoken. Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and systems. Knowledge of health administrative practices. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Knowledge of government regulations and requirements. Skill in gathering and interpreting data. Skill in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, clients, public and external agencies. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgement, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. Ability to research and prepare reports or other correspondence as required. Skilled and well trained on assisting with Dermatology treatments. BLS, mandatory training, infection control training and health and safety training. Computer literate in Microsoft word / excel and able to answer formal emails as well as make bookings. The ability to research, process, analyze and present material clearly and concisely. Should display discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues. 2.2 Personal Traits Should be positive and self-motivated. Should take initiative. Be flexible with working location as this can change during the day. 2.3 Educational Qualifications Laser certified from an accredited laser institute within UAE. 2.4 Professional Experience Previous UAE experience desired but not essential. 2.5 Licensure/Certification Requirements Current registered nurse license with laser certification as accepted by DOH.
