Job Description

A Laser Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of lasers used in medical, industrial, or research settings. They must ensure the proper functioning of laser equipment and assist in procedures. The role involves collaborating with medical professionals or other technicians to provide accurate laser treatments. Additionally, Laser Technicians need to adhere to safety protocols and maintain detailed records of procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate laser equipment according to specifications for various treatments. Calibrate lasers and perform routine maintenance to ensure functionality. Assist in laser procedures by preparing patients and equipment. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Document procedures accurately and update patient records. Provide support to medical professionals during laser treatments. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs. Stay updated on the latest advancements in laser technology and treatments. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines. Participate in training programs for continuous professional development.
Qualifications:

Associate degree or certification in Laser Technology or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with laser equipment. Strong understanding of laser physics and safety protocols. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
