We are looking for a DHA-licensed Laser Technician to join our team at Elora Aesthetic Polyclinic. The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing laser hair removal and non-invasive body contouring devices, with a passion for delivering safe, results-driven services in a luxury aesthetic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform laser hair removal treatments using approved medical-grade laser systems following DHA protocols and safety standards with Candela Gentlemax Pro plus
Administer non-invasive body contouring procedures (e.g.fat freezing devices, cryolipolysis, radiofrequency, or similar technologies).
Conduct client consultations to assess suitability, explain procedures, and develop personalized treatment plans.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate client treatment records, including before and after photos and consent forms.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laser and body contouring devices in line with manufacturer and DHA regulations.
Follow strict infection control and hygiene protocols at all times.
Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care, potential side effects, and aftercare recommendations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid DHA License as a Laser Therapist or equivalent.
Valid DHA Laser Certificate is mandatory.
Minimum 2 years of experience in laser hair removal and body contouring procedures.
Strong understanding of skin types, Fitzpatrick scale, laser safety, and contraindications.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Professional, ethical, and results-oriented approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary aesthetic team.
Preferred (but not essential):
Prior experience in a high-end aesthetic or dermatology clinic.
Familiarity with multiple body contouring platforms or aesthetic software systems.
Experience in aesthetic photography and digital documentation.
