Job Description

Job Purpose:

To perform laser hair removal and other aesthetic laser treatments under the supervision of a licensed dermatologist or physician, ensuring patient safety, high service quality, and compliance with UAE health authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform laser hair removal and other approved laser/aesthetic procedures as per the facility's scope of service. Conduct patient consultations and skin assessments prior to treatment. Maintain proper documentation of procedures, consent forms, and patient records. Ensure laser equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated safely. Follow all DHA/MOHAP/DOH regulations and infection control standards. Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care and manage expectations. Report any adverse reactions or equipment malfunctions to the supervising physician. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laser room and treatment area. Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain competency. Support the medical team in promoting a safe and professional patient environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Laser Technology, or related field.

Licensing:

Valid DHA/MOHAP/DOH Laser Technician license or eligibility letter.

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in laser hair removal or aesthetic treatments.

Skills:

Excellent communication and patient care skills. Strong understanding of laser safety and skin anatomy. Ability to manage multiple patients and maintain accurate documentation.

Language:

Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Work Conditions:

Clinic-based work environment. Flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings as required. Adherence to infection control and patient confidentiality standards.
