Collecting, receiving, labeling, and/or analyzing samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
Instructs patients in the proper collection of samples.
Designing and executing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic) according to established procedure.
Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
Ensuring that safety guidelines are always adhered to within the laboratory.
Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
Ordering laboratory supplies, as needed.
Providing technical support, when necessary.
Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
Perform quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Oversees lab inventory and orders supplies when required.
Taking and recording patient's vital signs and reporting any abnormalities to the Nurse-in Charge.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records or patient care/activities.
Assisting the Nurse-in-charge with medical procedures, including preparation materials needed for the procedure and preparation of patient (ex. Application of numbing cream/spray).
Setting up and cleaning medical supplies as needed.
Ensure patient comfort by providing a clean and safe environment.
Respond to patient requests promptly and compassionately.
Work collaboratively with the Nursing Staff and other healthcare professionals.
Attending team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.
Attending trainings as needed in order to provide better patient care and possibly perform simple patient treatments, under the supervision of the Nurse or Doctor.
Uphold high standards of professionalism and ethics.

Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent (a degree in Administration, Healthcare, or a related field is a plus).
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within the healthcare or medical sector.
