Job Description

We are looking for a Landscape Supervisors who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of hardscape features in landscaping and construction projects. Hardscape refers to the non-living, permanent elements in an outdoor environment, such as pavements, walkways, walls, fences, and other structures made of materials like concrete, brick, stone, or wood.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee a team of hardscape laborers and skilled workers.

Assign tasks and ensure that work is carried out efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.

Train and mentor staff in hardscape construction techniques.

Collaborate with project managers and landscape architects to interpret design plans and project requirements.

Develop work schedules and coordinate with other teams or contractors working on the same project.

Order and manage the delivery of materials required for hardscape installation.

Ensure that hardscape elements are constructed with high quality and precision.

Conduct inspections to verify that work is in compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Address and rectify any issues or defects promptly.

Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and guidelines.

Ensure that the team is using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Stay up-to-date with local regulations and environmental standards related to hardscape construction.

Monitor project expenses and adhere to budgetary constraints.

Report cost overruns and suggest cost-saving measures when possible.

Oversee the maintenance of tools and equipment used in hardscape construction.

Arrange for repairs or replacements as needed

Maintain records of daily activities, materials used, and work progress.

Prepare reports and update project managers on the status of hardscape work.

Maintain effective communication with clients or project owners to address their concerns and provide updates on project status.

Ensure client satisfaction and address any issues or modifications requested by clients.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in hardscape construction and supervision.

Knowledge of hardscape materials, construction methods, and equipment.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards.

Effective communication and organizational skills.

A UAE driving license may be required for site visits.
