Responsibilities:
  • Quantity Surveying:
  • Conduct quantity surveys and take-off measurements from landscape design drawings and specifications to determine material quantities and costs.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for landscaping projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Cost Control and Budget Management:
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and forecasts to assess project financial performance and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management:
  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for landscaping projects, obtaining competitive bids and negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to meet project requirements.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Coordinate project activities and schedules with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Liaise with landscape designers, architects, engineers, and construction teams to clarify specifications, resolve issues, and address project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements related to landscaping materials, construction methods, and environmental considerations.
  • Conduct inspections and quality audits to verify workmanship, materials, and adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and correspondence with stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, updates, and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, issues, and risks.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 4 years experience in quantity surveying, project coordination, or a similar role, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation techniques, and project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, quantity surveying tools, and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail for conducting quantity surveys, cost analyses, and financial evaluations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to landscaping and construction.
Additional Information:
  • This is a full-time position based in Dubai, with occasional travel to project sites and client meetings.
  • Flexible working hours may be required to accommodate project schedules and deadlines.
