Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to verify landscape and irrigation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Inspect installation of soft landscaping, hard landscaping, and irrigation systems
• Inspect temporary and permanent signage, delineation works, and associated site installations
• Inspect mechanical equipment installations related to landscape and site development works
• Monitor building, facility construction, and associated site development activities within assigned scope
• Maintain project records including quantity calculations, daily site diaries, and inspection logs
• Prepare daily inspection reports and required documentation in accordance with contract requirements
• Verify that only approved materials are used and properly documented on site
• Maintain as-built drawings and perform labor compliance interviews when required
• Identify potential conflicts, quality issues, or construction problems and report findings with proposed solutions to the supervisor
• Collect, review, and file certificates of compliance, MSDS, inspection tags, and material documentation
• Provide technical guidance to junior or lower-level inspectors when required
• Coordinate with subconsultants for surveying, testing, and material inspections
• Participate in development of job safety practices, safety reports, and quality control procedures
• Verify installed quantities for contractor payment applications and variation works
• Respond to site call-backs and emergency situations when required
• Perform additional inspection-related duties as assigned by the project

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction supervision of landscape and irrigation works
• Prior consultancy experience in infrastructure or building projects is highly preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to comply with client, contract, and industry standards across multiple requirements
• Candidate must currently be based in the UAE
