Position Overview
The Landscape Engineer role at Parsons Corporation in Dubai supports the design development and construction supervision of large-scale landscape and irrigation projects. Key Responsibilities

• Perform field engineering assignments applying core engineering principles across landscape and irrigation works
• Coordinate landscape design activities, resolve site-related issues, and manage interfaces between hard and soft landscaping
• Develop project proposals aligned with client requirements and coordinate with designers and stakeholders
• Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, materials, and technical proposals for compliance with contract documents
• Recommend approvals in line with specifications, standards, and statutory requirements
• Review contractor and subcontractor prequalification submissions and provide recommendations to the client
• Conduct site inspections to verify works are executed to approved drawings and acceptable quality standards
• Select plants and trees from approved external sources prior to delivery to site
• Apply in-depth knowledge of regional plant species, growth requirements, and maintenance considerations
• Ensure irrigation systems comply with applicable standards, requirements, and plantation needs
• Provide functional guidance to site and craft personnel as required
• Support additional project responsibilities associated with landscape engineering delivery

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum twelve years of experience in landscape and irrigation design and construction supervision, preferably within the UAE
• Proven experience on large-scale infrastructure or mixed-use developments
• Demonstrated capability to operate in a senior or management capacity
• Strong understanding of engineering, construction processes, and site coordination
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for client, contractor, and authority interaction
• Knowledge of construction health, safety, environmental, and sustainability practices
• Familiarity with international and local authority standards and statutory requirements
