We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Engineer to join our Facilities Management team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of landscape projects within our facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, horticulture, and project management, along with the ability to conduct site visits and collaborate with stakeholders. Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand landscape requirements and develop design concepts for outdoor spaces within our facilities. 2. Prepare detailed landscape plans, including plant selections, irrigation systems, hardscapes, and lighting. 3. Coordinate with landscape contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality implementation of landscape projects. 4. Conduct site visits to assess existing landscapes, identify maintenance needs, and develop plans for enhancement or restoration. 5. Supervise and monitor landscape contractors during project implementation to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. 6. Manage the procurement of landscape materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. 7. Ensure compliance with horticultural standards, irrigation best practices, and local regulations related to landscape management. 8. Develop and implement landscape maintenance schedules, including pruning, fertilization, irrigation, and pest control. 9. Monitor landscape maintenance activities, assess their effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement. 10. Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to develop and implement sustainable landscape practices, including water conservation and waste management. 11. Provide technical guidance and support to the Facilities Management team and contractors regarding landscape-related issues. 12. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in landscape design and maintenance. 13. Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations related to landscape projects and activities. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field. 2. Proven experience as a Landscape Engineer or similar role in the Facilities Management industry. 3. Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, horticulture, and irrigation systems. 4. Proficiency in landscape design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite. 5. Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. 6. Familiarity with local regulations and best practices related to landscape management in Abu Dhabi. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and the Facilities Management team. 8. Ability to conduct site visits, assess landscape conditions, and make recommendations for improvement. 9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail. 10. Knowledge of sustainable landscape practices and environmental considerations. 11. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 12. Flexibility to travel for site visits within Abu Dhabi as needed. 13. Professional certifications in landscape architecture or horticulture are desirable.
