Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Engineer with a strong focus on Business Development to drive growth and expand our landscaping portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

:

Lead business development efforts for the landscaping division by identifying and pursuing new clients, projects, and partnerships. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the company's presence in the residential, commercial, and public landscaping sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and developers. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and bids tailored to client needs. Drive the entire business development lifecycle, from lead generation and negotiation to deal closure and follow-up. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Work closely with the operations and design teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget. Conduct site assessments and client meetings to understand project requirements and provide customized solutions. Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to generate leads and build brand visibility. Ensure all project documentation, including contracts and reports, aligns with the company's standards and business development goals.

Business Development Responsibilities

:

Identify and secure new business opportunities, including landscaping design, construction, and maintenance contracts. Develop long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure recurring business and client retention. Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional strategies to support business development goals. Generate revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets and expanding the client base.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape engineering, with at least 3 years focused on business development or sales within the landscaping or construction industry. Proven track record in generating leads, securing new projects, and closing deals. Strong network of contacts within the landscaping or related industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch services to diverse clients. Proficiency in preparing proposals, bids, and technical documents. Knowledge of industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and MS Office applications. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

:

Strong understanding of market trends in landscaping and green infrastructure. Experience with large-scale projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal landscaping. Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and environmentally friendly solutions.
