Job Description
: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to performs a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline. What You\'ll Be Doing:
Direct, supervise, and coordinate construction activities/works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team and lead the construction supervision team.
Manage construction supervision, quality control, financial control, hand over and other site operations.
Monitor progress against accepted construction schedule and review the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s progress reports. Asses the progress and inform the ARE and the RE in case of delay.
Propose solutions to the specified construction issues.
Coordinate with all concerned parties on all construction and design issues.
Monitor the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s performance and report issues, status and progress of works on site.
Assess progress on site and prepare reports to be submitted to the ARE&RE.
Set and monitor duration of submittal review and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, etc.
Monitor and manage the as built records.
Monitor and coordinate all matters between contractors and all concerned Authorities.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Landscape Architecture/Engineer or related discipline.
Bachelor\'s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Engineering-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.
Minimum 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in construction and supervision projects.
- Experience in the construction of infrastructure and landscaping projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred in Abu Dhabi
Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction-related processes related to the area of assignment
Knowledge of English grammar and composition, the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions, prepare written messages and simple charts and graphs.
Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required
