Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Landscape Draughtsman with at least 3 years of experience in landscape design and drafting. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, plans, and designs for landscape projects. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, knowledge of landscape architecture principles, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to create functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Technical Drawings:

Develop detailed site plans, layout designs, and construction drawings for landscape projects, including hardscape and softscape elements.

Collaborate with Design Teams:

Work closely with landscape architects, engineers, and design professionals to ensure that designs meet project requirements and are executed accurately.

Site Surveying and Measurements:

Assist in site surveys to gather data for accurate drawing and plan creation, ensuring adherence to site conditions and environmental factors.

Coordinate with Contractors:

Provide detailed drawings and specifications to contractors, ensuring that the design intent is clearly communicated and followed during the construction phase.

Prepare Presentation Materials:

Create visual representations, such as 3D models or renderings, to help present landscape designs to clients.

Revisions and Updates:

Make necessary revisions to drawings based on client feedback, changes in site conditions, or project requirements.

Knowledge of Local Codes and Standards:

Ensure that all drawings adhere to UAE building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

Project Documentation:

Maintain organized project files, including drawings, sketches, reports, and other relevant documents.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Landscape Draughtsman or in a similar role, with a focus on landscape architecture and design.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software. Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion, etc.) is a plus.

Educational Background:

A diploma or degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge of Local Regulations:

Familiarity with UAE's local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to create accurate, detailed, and precise drawings.

Time Management:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.

Problem-Solving:

Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during the drafting and design processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green technologies. Experience working in the UAE or the Middle East region. Familiarity with 3D visualization and rendering software.
