Landscape Design Manager**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Landscape Design Manager** to join our team! In this role you will get to be responsible for the management and overall supervision of the landscape architecture team.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Develop and maintain the landscape design teamwork in such a way as to ensure the most economical and effective use of resources and the completion of design projects in line with target timescales.
+ Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
+ Plans, organizes, and supervises the development and preparation of landscape design documents, including reports, 3D renders, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, etc.
+ Manage design deliverables according to project priorities and approved schedule.
+ Reviews and checks design documents for correctness and conformity with project requirements and specifications.
+ Makes presentations, and conducts, and attends internal and external meetings.
+ Conducts internal design workshops to maintain collaboration and the fostering of innovation and creativity, ensure ideas exchange, and make final decisions about the design of specific projects.
+ Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal opportunity in hiring and promotion.
+ Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
+ Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
+ Attends meetings with the clients and stakeholders, contributes to meetings, and records minutes for full coordination and dissemination of information to all relevant parties promptly.
+ May occasionally perform any task assigned to subordinate staff.
+ Completes other duties as assigned.
+ Conducts occasional team-building activities to boost team spirit, team performance, fun, and motivation.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture. Other related experiences would not be accepted.
+ A minimum of 15 years experience in landscape architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in the GCC, in leadership/manager position.
+ Licensed Landscape Architect (active status) is preferred.
+ Good understanding of design management and the process of design.
+ Ability to write technical documents and correspondence.
+ Sound technical understanding of both design and construction methodology for Landscape Architecture and implementation.
+ Proficient in Adobe InDesign is required.
+ Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong communication skills.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Experience with providing input to design proposals in terms of preparation of scope of service, level of effort, and RFPs.
