Parsons is seeking a talented Landscape BIM/CAD Modeler to join our team! In this role, you will perform basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments requiring a working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices and techniques.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

Provide front-line project-specific support to design teams.

Can create landscape BIM models and drawings within Revit/ Civil 3D to fulfill client requirements from LOD 100-LOD 350.

Has experience in Clash Detection process using Navisworks.

Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare Landscape drawings consisting of general arrangements, grading plans, layouts, details, etc., from rough sketches and general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.

Develop and maintain CAD and BIM libraries, continually advancing the platforms\xe2\x80\x99 efficiency and utilization.

Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.

Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required to prepare Landscape drawings.

Understands how to read orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.

Provide ongoing training to existing users for CAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.

Assist with the creation of CAD/BIM standards and the implementation of the same throughout the firm.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Take engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, etc., and formalizes them into working drawings.

What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:

A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.

Minimum five (5) years of demonstrable experience of BIM/ CAD design production experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably landscape projects.

In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, with proficiency in BIM/ CAD processes.

Experience with BIM/ CAD instruction and training.

Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good capability in oral and written communication skills.

Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.
